Acceptable-Use Policy
Effective date set at launch.
1. The basics
This policy applies to everything you create, upload, generate, or publish on AvatarStudio, including prompts, images, videos, custom Sidekicks, and custom Moves. It is part of the Terms of Service. Breaking these rules can lead to removal of content, loss of publishing access, suspension, or account termination.
2. Prohibited content
- Child sexual abuse material and content involving minors. Never create, upload, or publish content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers a minor. Do not create a character from a child's photo without verifiable parental consent. We report child-exploitation material to the authorities as required by law.
- Non-consensual likeness. Do not create or upload a real person's face or likeness without their permission or another legal right to do so. This includes public figures and people you know.
- Intellectual-property infringement. Do not use brands, logos, trademarks, or copyrighted characters or works you do not have the rights to use.
- Sexual or adult content. No nudity, sexual content, or sexually suggestive content.
- Illegal, dangerous, or hateful content. No content that is illegal, promotes or facilitates violence, terrorism, or self-harm, or attacks or demeans people based on protected characteristics.
- Harassment and impersonation. No bullying, threats, doxxing, or targeting of a specific person, and no impersonating a person or organization in a misleading way.
- Infringing or unlicensed music. Do not add audio you do not have the rights to use. Using AvatarStudio grants you no music rights.
3. Prohibited conduct
- Bypassing, disabling, or defeating the moderation gate, the age gate, or any publishing or safety control.
- Circumventing, manipulating, or defrauding the credits system, payments, watermarking, or any usage limit.
- Scraping, crawling, bulk-downloading, or harvesting content, assets, or data from the libraries or the service, or using bots or automation to abuse it.
- Reverse-engineering, probing, or attacking the service or its infrastructure, or interfering with other users.
- Uploading malware, or submitting content designed to evade or poison our safety systems.
4. The public-library moderation gate
Your content is private by default. It becomes public only after you opt in and it passes a layered moderation and review process, plus the required safety acknowledgements. That process combines automated prompt filtering, a post-generation visual classifier (checking for likeness, intellectual-property, minor-depiction, and explicit content), and human review for content headed to the public library, with an audit record per asset. Passing the gate does not mean any particular use of the content is lawful; you remain responsible for the rights in what you submit.
5. Enforcement and consequences
We may remove or restrict content, decline to publish it, revoke publishing access, suspend features, or suspend or terminate accounts for violations of this policy or the law. We terminate the accounts of repeat infringers. We act on reports through our Notice & Takedown Policy, and we may preserve records and notify authorities where required. Enforcement decisions are at our discretion and may be taken without prior notice where necessary.
6. Reporting a problem
To report content that breaks this policy, follow the Notice & Takedown Policy (for intellectual-property claims) or contact legal@avatarstudio.cloud (placeholder pending counsel). For content that sexualizes or endangers a minor, report it immediately to us and to the appropriate authorities.
